WILLIAM A. KOONS, JOSEPH A. KOONS AND JOHN KOONS SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON
  • First preference will be given to residents of the Shenandoah area but other residents of Schuylkill county who are of Lithuanian descent and who are enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences may apply for consideration. The scholarship is not to be awarded to anyone majoring in any of the computer science fields.
  • This is a need-based scholarship
  • Applicants must apply to University of Scranton then submit a typed essay with the heading "The William A. Koons, Joseph A. Koons and John Koons Scholarship Fund". In your essay, provide information on how you believe you best meet the conditions of the scholarship and provide information on your Lithuanian heritage. The essay should be double spaced and not exceed three pages in length. Please be sure to include your full name and address at the end of the essay.
